DAV Chapter # 1 Commander, Fred E. Wagar (on the right), presents Larry Schweigert of Chino Hills, CA, with the grand prize from the Chapter’s annual raffle. Mr. Schweigert was in Reno visiting relatives when he purchased the winning ticket to the 2007 Polaris Quad. Funds raised by the raffle will go to the DAV’s Van program, assistance to the Vet’s Center in Reno in purchasing bus tokens for veterans in the community with transportation issues and other veterans’ programs. CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. SCHWEIGERT. Thank you to all of those who bought tickets to support our veterans.
